Ambiance is quite nice and peaceful because they have plants hanging. Though the environment can be loud and crowded. Food is good. I ordered Original tonkatsu ramen with pork belly charsiu. The ramen was creamy. I went on lunch special which comes with black angus beef rice. The rice bowl was a bit salty. Rice was cooked right. I went there a little after lunch hours so it was crowded. The service is great and they get to you quick. The food was ready efficiently. Not much wait time when you're really hungry.

Wow! The food was so delicious! I wasn't sure I was that hungry so I got a sushi roll but when my husband's ramen came out I knew I made a mistake! Thankfully he graciously let me eat some. ;) all the food was flavorful. The ramen and sushi were my favorites. The crispy exterior of the sushi gave the crunchy roll the perfect crunch. This is also a bar so it was loud so be warned. I also didn't think the bathroom seemed very clean. But I would go again to get my own bowl of ramen.

This has expanded since I've last been here. They have a whole extra section to the left of the check in area. This helps with the wait times and seating process. I tried to order a different ramen this time (the curry ramen) the broth itself was super thick and rich. It wasn't super light to eat and I couldn't finish it all. I'd return to try something else next time. Weekends could get pretty crowded for dinner time so go early. I saw online they don't take reservations for parties less than 3 so it's first come first served. Seems like they have a couple of locations around SD but I prefer the vibe on convoy st.

Came on a Friday and was surprisingly sat down quickly. Ramen broth was flavorful and the cuts of meat were so tender and cooked very well. I really liked the smoky on the tonkotsu and the option to put spicy on the side. Yet, in my opinion it was nothing too out of the ordinary or special. The restaurant is a bit noisy but has a fun vibe and we were not rushed to leave. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, so suggest parking on the street and walking

Food is ok. Broth is really good, not amazing but they have an "inflation resistant" price which they keep pretty low. Cool staff but wish the table layout wasnt so packed in. Ramen is pretty good, sushi is whatever, takoyaki is good but pricey . The chasiu was kind of dry in some pieces but too fatty on others. Cant complain since price was decent. Portion was average. I think Menya is better but its also more expensive and has more restrictive hours

This was a hittttt I like spice level and I'd say it was a 7/10 spice level! Just right before you get the runny nose and tears. I was seated very quickly for a party of 5 and loved the clear glass looking into the kitchen it was super fun! Super tasty! @neeks93 on insta
